The Power of TRI™

  • Why Three?
  • The Formulation Logic Behind The Power of TRI™

Formulation begins with a specific need

There is no shortage of bioactive compounds that can be used in food supplements. The real challenge is knowing how to navigate this vast range of possibilities and build a formula in which every ingredient has a distinct role.

In Fortivion Labs, we begin with a clearly defined health concern and identify the physiological processes associated with it. From there, we build a long list of potential candidates and examine the evidence behind each one. Ingredients with limited or inconsistent research data are removed. So are ingredients that largely duplicate one another without adding a distinct beneficial function.

What remains are candidates that can contribute through different but complementary pathways. We then assess whether bringing them together creates a scientifically coherent formula: one in which every ingredient has a role and the combination has a clear rationale.

This is the principle behind all three products in The Power of TRI™ range:

Three ingredients.

Three complementary roles.

One disciplined formula.

ASHTEATRI™: sleep and nightly recovery

ASHTEATRI™ brings together ashwagandha extract, L-theanine and 5-HTP to support different aspects of the transition from daytime strain to restorative sleep.

Ashwagandha extract has been studied for its effects on perceived stress and sleep quality. Its role in the formula is to help address the stress-related physiological activation that can make it difficult to settle and recover at night.

L-theanine, an amino acid naturally present in tea, is associated with a relaxed but alert mental state. Instead of acting as a conventional sedative, it is included to support mental calm and ease the transition towards sleep.

5-HTP is a metabolic precursor to serotonin, which in turn is involved in the body’s production of melatonin. It therefore contributes through a distinct biochemical pathway connected with sleep regulation.

The logic of the combination is complementary: ashwagandha addresses stress-related load, L-theanine supports mental relaxation, and 5-HTP supports a neurotransmitter pathway involved in the sleep–wake cycle. Together, they are designed to support the conditions in which natural sleep and overnight

recovery can occur.

MATRIPEA™: perimenopause and menopause support

MATRIPEA™ combines PEA, fenugreek extract and maca extract to address several dimensions of wellbeing that may become more difficult to maintain during perimenopause and menopause.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endogenous fatty-acid amide involved in the regulation of inflammatory and discomfort-related signalling. Its role is to support physical comfort and physiological balance.

Fenugreek extract has been investigated in women experiencing menopausal symptoms, including vasomotor, physical and urogenital concerns. It provides the formula’s more directly menopause-focused botanical component.

Maca extract has been studied for its potential to support psychological wellbeing and sexual function in postmenopausal women. It complements the more physically focused roles of PEA and fenugreek by addressing dimensions of vitality and quality of life.

These ingredients don’t repeat the same action. PEA is included for physical comfort and inflammatory balance, fenugreek for broader menopausal wellbeing, and maca for vitality, mood- related wellbeing and sexual function. Their complementary roles allow the formula to address the menopausal transition from several connected angles without turning it into an indiscriminate blend.

TRIREGEN™: recovery and resilience

TRIREGEN™ combines MSM, PEA and phosphatidylserine to support recovery across physical and stress-related pathways.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organosulfur compound studied in relation to joint comfort, exercise-related muscle soreness and markers of oxidative stress. It forms the structural and physical-recovery component of the formula.

PEA complements MSM through its role in inflammatory and discomfort-related signalling, providing a second, mechanistically distinct approach to physical comfort and recovery.

Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid found in cell membranes, with particularly important roles in nervous-system function. It has been studied in relation to cognitive performance and the physiological response to stress, extending the formula beyond the musculoskeletal dimension of recovery.

The three roles are deliberately different: MSM supports the physical tissues and exercise-related recovery; PEA supports the regulation of discomfort and inflammatory signalling; and phosphatidylserine addresses neural and stress-related resilience. The result is a broader recovery concept built from three clearly defined contributions.

Why we stop at three ingredients

In The Power of TRITM, the three-ingredient structure reflects two practical formulation priorities.

1. Safety and total bioactive load

The word natural can create a misleading sense that an ingredient is automatically mild or risk-free. In reality, supplement ingredients are biologically active substances. That activity is precisely why they may be useful, but it also means that, like conventional medicines, they may cause adverse effects, interact with medicines or other supplements, or be poorly tolerated by some individuals.

Like conventional medicines, bioactive compounds must be absorbed, processed and eliminated by the body, so every additional compound contributes to the overall physiological load. What matters, therefore, is the total exposure created by the complete supplement regimen.

Dual Vector™ is designed to improve the delivery and efficient use of each active ingredient. However, even with an advanced delivery system, we believe total daily bioactive intake should be intentional and controlled. Our aim is to create a coherent, meaningful formula in which every ingredient is included at the amount needed for its intended function.

2. Freedom to combine products more intelligently

Many people use more than one supplement. When every product contains a long list of active ingredients, the same compounds, or compounds with similar actions, can appear across several formulas. Consumers may then unknowingly duplicate ingredients, increase their total intake, or create combinations that were never evaluated together.

This matters because, unlike medicines with well-defined therapeutic dosing frameworks, many supplement ingredients, particularly botanical extracts, do not have universally established daily requirements or upper intake limits. Evidence may also apply to a particular extract, dose, or population and not to every version of an ingredient.

Focused formulas make a supplement regimen easier to build and manage. They also make products easier to combine by reducing the risk of unintentionally duplicating the same bioactive compounds across different supplements. At the same time, they provide greater clarity about the intended contribution of each product and each ingredient.

"The philosophy of Fortivion Labs is targeted biological effect with a carefully controlled bioactive load.

We select as few ingredients as necessary, give each one a defined function, and bring them together only when the combination has a clear scientific rationale."

Targeted biological effect. Carefully controlled bioactive load.

This is The Power of TRI™.

The products described are intended to support normal physiological functions and general wellbeing. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Evidence for individual ingredients does not, by itself, establish clinical synergy in a finished combination. Product suitability depends on the individual; people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take medication should consult a qualified healthcare professional before use. Products containing 5-HTP require particular caution when used with medicines or supplements that affect serotonin.
